1) Do you think E.S. helps your patients?

Yes, I see good results with reducing pain so that patients can be more functional. I see good results with muscle re-education after surgeries when the muscles go in to somewhat of a dormant stage. Also, I see a good reduction of post-surgical swelling with the use of electrical stimulation.

Interviews

I conducted interviews to find out what physical therapists thought about Electrical stimulation and its effectiveness.  This was done to show some proof that it does help patients and doctors advocate it's use.  These questions were asked to a few therapists at my mentorship.

The first question was asked to prove that E.S. is an aid to rehabilitation, and the second was to show that it is not a quick-fix option.  E.S. is best used to supplement modalities and exercise.
